A brilliant and charismatic man, Pietro Castellett left an indelible mark on the Ragusa community. Born in 1932 and passed away in 2024, he was a well-known, esteemed and respected lawyer, but also a lively and histrionic figure who believed deeply in the values of freedom, dialogue and connection. This shows in the relationships with his life-long companion and, above all, with his friends: For years, he animated the summers of Marina di Ragusa with his companions, recreating in real life the television myth of “Quelli della Notte” (an Italian late night variety show):acompany of friends who shared evenings ofjokes, discussions and unforgettable anecdotes. Pietro represented a rare and authentic freedom of spirit, which this room seeks to restore in every detail.
